HAMAS BEGINS TO FREE ISMers KILLERS. REDUCES LIFE SENTENCE TO 15 YEARS

HAMAS KILLERS OF ISM ACTIVIST VITTORIO ARRIGONI GET SENTENCES REDUCED FROM LIFE TO 15 YEARS BY GAZA MILIATRY COURT.

SOURCE: AL JAZEERA

THERE'S NOTHING MORE STUPID THAN AN ISM ACTIVIST. THESE LITTLE TWERPS RUN AROUND CHANTING VERBIAGE ABOUT "RESISTANCE" AND
HUMAN RIGHTS AS THEY CHAMPION CUTTHROATS FROM TOTALITARIAN REGIMES LIKE HAMAS AND HEZBOLLAH.

ARRIGONI WAS BEATEN AND HANGED BY THE GREAT PALESTINIAN REVOLUTION HE SO LOVINGLY SUPPORTED. HIS KILLERS' LAWYER COMPLAINED THE LIFE SENTENCE WAS REDUCED TO ONLY 15 YEARS WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TEN.

ODDS ARE THEY WILL BE FREED ON GOOD BEHAVIOR BY 2015.

TO TRISTAN ANDERSON, RACHEL CORRIE, TOM HURNDALL AND ANY OF THE OTHER ISM MORONS WHO DIED OR FACE INJURY FOR THEIR TIRELESS EFFORTS TO SUPPORT ARAB TERRORISTS AND MURDERERS, WE HOLD UP VITTORIO'S JUSTICE AS PROOF YOU ARE ALL FOOLS.

HIS TATOO READS IN ARABIC "RESISTANCE"

IT WAS GREAT FUN WHILE IT LASTED AGAINST THE JEWS

ARRIGONI ONCE SAID HE WAS LIVING AND SUPPORTING THE HAMAS BECAUSE HIS GRANDFATHER WAS A PARTISAN AGAINST THE NAZIS.
NEVER MIND THAT THE HAMAS-A LATER PART OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD THAT WERE NAZI ALLIES DURING WORLD WAR II-
ARE NAZI SUPPORTERS.

AN OPEN CHALLENGE LETTER TO ANNA BALTZER (OR IS IT PILLER? OR IS IT NARDIE? OR IS IT ISHKABIBBBLE?)

For those of you following my work exposing the International Solidarity Movement
you may have seen the brouhaha about my latest article about Anna Baltzer of the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation. If you scroll down to my past articles about
Anna here on my blog, you can learn more about her. To brief those not in the know,
I wrote an article where I said Anna lied about having a Fulbright Scholarship and attending Birthright, tales she uses to pose as the Jew who wants to bring down Israel for Hamas.

Well, it turns out she had her real name as Anna Piller instead of Baltzer on the Fulbright website where it mentioned she was given some funds to be a TA (teaching assistant) to teach English in an English language program at a Turkish university,
and may have even been at Birthright (I'm still waiting for proof), but under a completeley different name, Anna Piller. It was already established she never went on Brithright as Anna Baltzer per the Birthright Program. Anna did not get and is not a Fulbright Scholars who receive scholarships to either attend school to get a degree, do specific research or a dissertation. Because of this difference, Anna's name still does not appear on the Fulbright Scholars list on the Fulbright website under either name, Baltzer of Piller. So she lied about being a Fulbright Scholar, exaggerating her connections to Fulbright. This hoax was perpetrated by anarchist Daniel Sierdaski who wrote my editors and told them she was.

Needless to say, the ISM trolls on the Internet are crowing about the fact she did have some connection to Fulbright in her background and that that somehow disproves all the pro-terrorist activities I've proven about the ISM over the last ten years and that she is a serial liar. The article in question was pulled by one panicky publisher who was afraid of a lawsuit over a minor issue that the anti-Israel trolls tried to make into a major issue--and succeeded. Anna Baltzer herself never sent any letters, I guess leaving the threats up to the ISM cultists to do it for her. The rest of the information about how Anna lies in the articles in question were true to the T, though. Anna just finished last week telling an audience at Oxford yet another lie that Israel is the same as apartheid 1980's South Africa. She went to Belgium on February 4th to tell assorted atrocity lies about Israel to further spur anti-Semitism in Europe among Christians there.

Anyway, I thought I'd write Anna Baltzer an OPEN LETTER here on my blog and those ISM trolls out there who are living on the Internet for her can, and I am sure will, show it to her. I hope the ISM trolls and my followers will disseminate this far and wide:

AN OPEN LETTER CHALLENGE TO ANNA BALTZER (sic)

Ms. Baltzer (or is it Piller? Nardi?):

It has come to my attention that even though the Fulbright websites and staff advised me there was no Anna Baltzer who obtained a Fulbright scholarship in 2003 as your Wikpedia entry said you did at the time I wrote my article about your going to Oxford (which I understand is now changed saying you are also known as Anna Piller), why do you permit all the public relations articles put out by the ISM for you to say "Anna Baltzer received a Fulbright Scholarship"? In fact, why do you even need to use a false name?

As for Birthright, at this writing I'm waiting to hear back to see if they hosted an Anna Piller in 2000, this query based on a similar confusion to that above. ISM activists frequently use false identities to do their work against Israel, even obtaining multiple passports to get back there after deportation. Is that why you have the false name Anna Baltzer?

Do you use the name Anna Baltzer because you have a criminal conviction on your record from 1997 under the name Anna Piller? And what was that conviction for, pray tell?

Finally, there's the issue of your grandparents who allegedly were Holocaust survivors.
In my article, I mention I could find no record of Baltzers who were listed as Holocaust survivors from the death camps. I found only one woman named Baltzer who did perish during the Shoah. I imagine she'd object to you using her name.
In my earlier articles and the ones about you at Oxford, I mentioned Hedy Epstein, the phony "Holocaust survivor" of the ISM who I learned was never in the death camps and spent the entire war in the safey of England as a child. Hedy, as an adult after the war belonged to pro-Stalinist groups that were anti-Zionist (Stalin was actually planning a new pogrom when he died) and that she even supported Pol Pot. The liars in the ISM tried parading her out at divestment events hoping audiences would think a victim of the Nazi death camps even was against the Jewish state. You know, the same idea behind an anti-Semite like yourself claiming she is attacking the Jewish people in the name of Arab irredentists, revanchist idealogues like Hamas so that non-Jews and (other suckers) will not see your program as promoting hatred for the Jews.

What are the names of your grandparents who are "Holocaust survivors" and what death camps did they survive? Surely you'd want this information made public to bolster your credentials. Do you have the tattooed numbers from their arms to facilitate an accurate search? You mentioned once you were born in Switzerland. Did your grandparents spend the war there? I await a reply.

How much do you earn as the head of the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation?
My research tells me that ISM coordinators like you are paid $60,000 a year from the the likes of the PLO. With all your world travel, etc. I'd imagine you must be paid far more. Do you mind telling the world your income for this sinecure you have as the Jew
who works to deport other Jews from their homes and supports terrorist groups that calls for killing them? You are also involved with Medea Benjamin's Code Pink and Global Exchange, that wonderful group that sent $600,000 to the Iraqi resistance in aid
while US marines were dying and losing limbs during the Battle for Fallujah. I'm curious how much it costs to buy a pretty "Jewish" girl (are you really even Jewish?)
to serve as a mouthpiece for destroying the Jews in the Middle East first and stir anti-Semitism in colleges, meeting halls and most of all in Christian churches. Can you divulge this information? It migh shed light on your epiphany and statements you are promoting Jewish values by supporting and lying for Jew-killers like Hamas.

Finally, can you answer these three questions below, though I already know the answers:

Have you read the Hamas Charter and its calls to annihilate all the Jews in the world as well as Israel as a religious obligation to God and do you agree with it? In other words,
will you condemn Hamas as a terrorist group?

Does Israel have a right to exist as it is, the Jewish national homeland? (You apparenly refused to answer this earlier on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart which was an obvious "no". I suppose you couldn't risk your sinecure from the Arabs who pay you by saying that Israel has any right to exist.)

For what crime were you convicted in 1997 when you were about 18 years old? Was it serious? Was it for fraud? For what were you convicted back then? Is that why you began using aliases?

The only persons I know who use aliases are criminals and celebrities. Was it the former that became the reason "Anna Baltzer" was coined? Or the latter, so you could become famous as the Jew for another Jewish Holocaust? Curious minds want to know. I note this article from 2006 that says Anna Baltzer is your real name and Piller the alias. Why did you change it?

Don't worry. It's been screen captured.
Feel free to comment here on my blog.

Anna Baltzer at the Berkeley Sabeel Conference

I'd never seen Anna Baltzer in action though I'd read about her. At the Sabeel Conference at St. John the Workers Church in Berkeley Ms. Baltzer gave a presentation in the main hall.

Baltzer is drop dead gorgeous and looks like a movie star, but she is also proof that beauty is only skin deep. Her presentation on behalf of the International Women's Peace Service was so dishonest and deliberately manipulative of an audience that it reveals an ugliness below the surface appearance of this woman. Innuendos, half-truths, manipulated photos and constant misrepresentations were the order of the day for her presentation, and most annoying was her voicing "I am a Jewish-American" to lend credence to her pro-PLO propaganda spiel; here was a Jewish woman content to lie by omitting facts and giving credence to hearsay to aid in the dispossession of and encourage attacks on Jews in Israel.

First, let me say the International Women's Peace Service is a communist organization that grew out of the communist-inspired International Women's League for Peace and Freedom in the 1920s and 30's. Back here in California, the IWPS tours schools, damning Israel in the eyes of schoolchildren just like Baltzer does and is led by another Jewess-communist named Kate Raphael. It's not particularly Jewish to be a communist whack job, but if one is, then it's useful to cite one's ancestry of Judaism that was long abandoned for the god of Marxism to attack the Jews in Israel and those who support them. Israel was founded and built by more than one Marxist who grew up during the Cold War, and the Soviet Union once supported the creation of the Jewish state because of the socialist nature of so many Zionist groups. The Torah teaches that every Jew is responsible for every other Jew, a form of socialism that has a beneficial group-think on the Jewish community.

But what frequently happens is it gets perverted among secular Jews who decide that Marxism is the way to go. They become about as Jewish as a ham sandwich, but nevertheless use their Jewish ancestry to lend credibility to attacking Jewish interests like Israel as they fall into the communist party platform that is anti-Israel. As the Soviet Union later aligned with the Arabs, Marxist groups like the IWPS became increasingly "anti-Zionist" (anti-Jew). Writer Paul Bogdaner has posited that "Martin Luther’s program of terrorizing Jews originated with a Jewish convert, Johannes Pfefferkorn; and that the myth of the Jewish world-conspiracy, which culminated in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, was assiduously promoted by a Russian Jewish author, Jacob Brafmann. We suspected that as the Pfefferkorns and the Brafmanns departed from the stage, the Finkelsteins and the Chomskys made their entrance."

As for the "peace" theme of the IWPS, Writer Bruce Bawer has explained that "use of the word 'peace' to legitimize totalitarianism is an old Communist tradition. In August 1939, when the Nazis and Soviets signed their nonaggression pact, the same Western Stalinists who had been calling for war against Germany did an about-face and began to praise peace. (After Hitler invaded Russia, the Stalinists reversed themselves again, demanding that the West help Stalin crush the Third Reich.) The peace talk, in short, was really about sympathizing with Communism, not peace. And it continued after the war, when Stalin’s Western supporters whitewashed his monstrous regime and denounced anti-Communists as warmongering crypto-fascists. 'Peace conferences' and 'friendship committees' drew hordes of liberal dupes, who didn’t grasp that their new 'friends' were not ordinary Russians but the jailers of ordinary Russians—and that the committees were about not 'friendship' but deception, exploitation, and espionage."

I'll write more about IWPS later and particularly Hannah Mermelstein, a member who for some reason the Israeli security services just can't stop from entering Israel to try and destroy it.

But back to Anna Baltzer's presentation.

Baltzer immediately claimed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was not about religion, but land. In other words, the Arabs, particularly the Muslims, have nothing against Jews per se, but their land is being stolen by them. This was the first lie. The settlements that Baltzer showed photos of were built on public Jordanian land after 1967. It's one of the deceptive lies of the ISM (as a front for the PLO) to claim that Jews just marched in and grabbed private Palestinian homes and property.

It's always fascinated me how in America we accept the right of anyone who can legally purchase his own property to live where he pleases. This was the basis of our Civil Rights Movement. But when the Arabs claim that land is only for Arabs or Muslims, the radical left rushes in to agree with them.

In any event, Baltzer pointed to a settlement and said "Only Jews can live there." This was the second lie of her presentation and it was deliberate, a variation on the Blood Libel stories (which Baltzer improved on later as we shall see).

What Baltzer should have said was only Israeli citizens can live there. Christians, Druze, Muslims with Israeli citizenship can live in those communities. Were the Palestinian Authority to arrest terrorists and stop killing Israelis, mainly Jews,
those communities might then become open to all Palestinian citizens in a viable Palestinian state. But for now, they are under the control of Israel for security reasons, and rightly so.

Baltzer commented about the land around the settlement in the photo and claimed it belonged to Palestinians. This was the third lie. The land belonged to the settlement. But to these ISM creeps, all land, trees, produce (olives) and just about anything a Palestinian tells them is theirs and not the Jews'; it all belongs to Palestinians.

Baltzer accurately explained the difference between economic settlers and the religious ones. Economic settlers moved to the West Bank for affordable housing whereas the religious came to resettle the Biblical land of Israel. But in true
radical socialist propagandistic form, Baltzer suggested that the economic settlers were only the oppressed in Israel, that is, the poor, the black Jews from Ethiopia, etc. In fact, Israel is so tiny that this is not true. Many people elect to live in the West Bank or east Jerusalem who are not impoverished but want a nicer home. Efrat is like Mission Viejo in California and only a 30 minute drive from Jerusalem (if you don't get shot by Arab terrorists on the way).

Baltzer then discussed the Security Fence (that the ISM loves to call the "Apartheid Wall"). Of course she doesn't mention the Fence became necessary because the Palestinian Authority refused to arrest or prosecute terrorists who murder Jews
(and still never has) despite their agreement to do so in the Oslo Accords. There hasn't been a bus bombing in Israel for two years since the Fence went up. The answer is simple; stop killing Israelis and the Fence will come down, it's mostly portable anyway. Baltzer relied on lying by omission throughout the presentation.

By the way, Baltzer kept reciting the trope of "occupation." Would she object to a Security Fence if it was on the 1949 Green Line? Probably so, because she wanted people to think she considers only the West Bank and Gaza "occupied" when in fact she means all of Israel.

I had to laugh when Baltzer showed a photograph of two cars with different colored license plates. She explained that somehow this reflected an apartheid situation
because the different colored plates for Israeli nationals (not just Jews) and Palestinian Arabs were "visible from far away to the checkpoints." In fact, it was the PA that demanded the different colored license plates, not the Israeli government, because it was demanded as a matter of sovereignty. But her audience would never know this.

Baltzer showed a staged photograph of a "bypass road" with another highway excavation site in the foreground. The manipulation of images was obvious.
She was honest at one point admitting Palestinians who are not Israelis can use the bypass roads after completing a security background check; the roads were created to stop Jews from being murdered on the highways. Somehow this was a terrible thing to her.

But Baltzer's theatrics really shone in discussing the checkpoints. I've been to Israel and checkpoints rarely take more than ten minutes unless a terrorist attack is being thwarted. Baltzer showed a line of Palestinian workers waiting to enter Israel. You can see such lines at our own airports. She implied this was part of the great suffering of the Palestinians due to those nasty Israelis having checkpoints to stop terrorists who kill Jew and Arab alike.

She got the audience of Christian anti-Semites, dried up 60's Berkeley radicals and the uninformed to emit a gasp when she told them a tale of a pregnant Palestinian woman who was taken by ambulance to one of the checkpoints that are normally open to traffic from 7 am to 7 pm. According to Baltzer, they arrived at the checkpoint before 7 am and the Israeli soldiers told the woman's family that despite her giving birth they could not let her through until 7 am. "They kept saying, 'We are just following orders. Just following orders,'" she announced, in a deliberate reference to Nazi army apologists over the Holocaust.

She went on to say the woman gave birth to twins in the ambulance, and after more waiting for hours, finally allowed to proceed at 7 am but both preemies died before she reached the hospital.

After her speech, I approached Baltzer. "Can you give me the name, the checkpoint,
the date and tell me what the IDF investigation of the incident showed?" I asked her.
"I didn't know the IDF investigates such things," she replied. "It's hard to imagine nobody complained, and the Arabs would never miss a sound bite like Israeli soldiers letting two babies die in the press, so there would have been an investigation," I told her.

Pressing on, I asked Baltzer for the woman's name. "Lamis," she said. But she could not give me a last name. "The village?" I pressed on. "Deir Balut," she said, but she could not provide a date. "It's in my book," she said, conveniently on sale in the church's vestibule. She grabbed a copy of Witness in Palestine, her "book" chronicling Israeli abuses and "apartheid." "I can't find the date, but I think it was the day before the date of this chapter," she said, being specific. "Were you there when this happened? Did you interview any of the soldiers?" I asked.

"No" she replied.

"So in other words somebody whose last name you don't know or remember told you this happened and it's listed as fact in your book?"

She drifted away into the crowd.

I should point out the last photo in her manipulated scenes at this event. Baltzer displayed a photo of a Palestinian teenager on a hill throwing a rock at some Israeli police officers at the bottom of the hill who were peacefully standing next to their vehicles. "I don't want to seem to be promoting violence," she said. "But this boy is in his village on his land and the Israeli police have no right to be there." She continued, "If someone broke into your home and invaded it, wouldn't you pick up a lamp and throw it at them to protect your home?" In other scenes where she claimed they showed Palestinians "nonviolently" protesting the "occupation," the Hamas flag was clearly visible in the rear. Hamas in its charter openly advocates the annihilation of Israel's Jews.

So much for the theme of nonviolence at this Sabeel event. Baltzer's remarks were little more than an excuse, a justification, for terrorism while trying to lie about phony Israeli atrocities. It was manipulated tripe, but the audience still gave her a standing ovation.

It was sick to see and hear in a House of Worship, of all places.

I learned so much at this conference.

One of the reason the big oil folks fund these conferences is to get everyone on the same page with the new, improved Palestinian narrative. (Its a narrative, folks, not "history"- because it didn't actually happen, but we can't let the facts get in our way now, can we?)

The "powers that be" are introducing important changes in the "narrative" as to the origins of the Palestinian people.

For instance- were you told to claim that the Palestinians were the descendants of the Philistines? That didn't work too well, did it? The Philistines themselves were of European origins, and never expanded their kingdom beyond the Southern Mediterranean coast. They weren't Semitic, they were uncircumsized...too problematic....

So the folks in the myth and legend department of the Palestinian propaganda ministry have a new narrative now- better get on the same page, boys and girls.

The Palestinians are now descended from the Phoenicians. Remember that. Be consistent. Sabeel says so. And don't forget- you heard it here first, folks

BECKY JOHNSON COMMENTS ON SELECTIONS FROM ANNA BALTZER'S "The Forgotten Torture Chambers, Walls, and Economics of the Occupation" -- May 15, 2007

ANNA BALTZER WRITES: "Along our tour we met a farmer named Abu Hashem who used to be one of the richest landowners in Palestine.

BECKY: Does Baltzer have any independent verification of this? Or is she simply accepting his version on its face and reporting it as though its a fact?

ANNA BALTZER: "Of his 8,000 original dunums, only 70 are left after Israel built what Fathi calls, "the Forgotten Wall." East of the major settler highway is a barrier similar in shape and effect to Israel's better-known Apartheid Wall, this one built back in 1971 and reinforced in 1999. From his modest house, Abu Hashem can see past the Wall across the thousands of his dunums that he can never return to, spanning all the way to the Jordan River."

BECKY: If this Abu Hashem (or Father God) truly had his land taken by Israel for a security barrier, then this was done under the laws of eminent domain of the State of Israel. Landowners are compensated for land taken at fair market values. Most likely this farmer didn't really own the land, but was squatting. He should count himself lucky that he got to use the land for his own purposes as long as he did.

ANNA BALTZER: "Abu Hashem's sons alternate years going to university and working on the farm to support the family. Abu Hashem would hire Palestinian laborers so his sons could study full-time, but Israel prohibits Palestinians from bringing in outside workers.

BECKY: There is no such prohibition. However, the IDF does check permits and ID's of Palestinians passing back and forth. Those who present a security risk or are wanted by Israel, don't dare go thru the checkpoints.

ANNA BALTZER: "Another farmer we met said he needs 50 farmers to cultivate his land, but he only has 10, since so many locals have left. Settlements, on the other hand, are free to bring in as much cheap labor from the rest of the West Bank as they like, so long as the Palestinians head back west when they're done so as not to throw off the Judaizing demographic trend."

BECKY: Israel COULD have taken over the West Bank and kicked out ALL the Arabs in 1967 (As Jordan had done to all the Jews when they took over in 1948)but they didn't. Since the presence of employment is the largest incentive for immigration, it's mystifying why "so many locals have left." Baltzer blames Israel but it doesn't make much sense. The Jordan Valley was always a scarsely populated area.
As for a so-called "Judaizing demographic trend" Baltzer plays the race card.

Here she claims that because Jewish settlers hire Palestinian workers for seasonal labor, this "proves" that Israel bases all of its policies on "Judaizing" areas of Israel. This is disingenuous to a high degree. For its illegal to discriminate in Israel based on race or religion.

ANNA BALTZER: "Settlements are towns or communities built by Israel exclusively for Jewish Israelis on land outside the internationally recognized borders of Israel. Settlements are in violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibit an occupying power from transferring citizens from its own population to the occupied territory, in this case the West Bank and Gaza. In many languages, the word for “settlement” is the same as the word for “colony.” But in English and Hebrew, a more benign word is used—people living in Israeli settlements are referred to as “settlers,” not “colonizers.”

BECKY: There ARE no "internationally recognized borders." That is part of the reason the conflict never gets settled. Baltzer may be referring to the 1949 cease-fire lines which are not official borders. In 1948, Jordanian armies drove out all Jews from the West Bank and Jerusalem. In 1967, when the Israeli army took control of Jerusalem, the West Bank, and parts of Jordan, Jews re-entered the West Bank to repopulate ancient Judea with Jews per their religious teachings. This did NOT violate Article 49 of the Geneva convention because 1) Israel was not the aggressor in the 1967 war,but were ruled to be the defenders and 2) no resident Arab/Muslim population was transferred OUT nor internally displaced. These Jews started new communities in their ancestral homelands on uninhabited land displacing no one. 3) UN resolution 242 left the Israeli army in charge until a peace agreement could be reached. Israel has already reached a peace agreement with Jordan and Egypt. they tried to reach an agreement with the Palestinians with the Oslo agreement, but Arafat failed to stop Palestinian terrorism and in 2000, Arafat launched his bloody intifada.

I hardly know where to begin to respond to all of the inaccuracies in Kaplan's post. Just about every quotation is incorrect, and I invite readers to view the same presentation online at YouTube to compare (there's even a DVD of the Sabeel conference coming out).

Along with my presentation, I provided a fact-sheet to back up all my statistics (I mentioned this at the end), using sources such as the UN OCHA, Amnesty International, Middle East Policy Council, and other human rights groups. I invite others to download the fact-sheet off my website as well. As I said in my presentation, I actually hope that people don't take my word for it, and instead do the research themselves, but from reliable sources.

Interestingly, I didn't see any references to Kaplan's assertions. For things on which we disagree I would happily refer to sources, if he'd provided any.

In terms of things not immediately refuted by seeing the presentation itself--and I'll skip the Communist hoopla since it has nothing to do with me or my work--I want to reassert to Kaplan, as I did after the talk, that I interviewed Lamis the day after the incident in which she lost her babies. I also wrote about it in my book and on my blog, and have verified that the entry date to which I referred Kaplan was correct (December 21st, 2003).

This should also be verifiable in the IWPS archives (if the ones online don't go back that far I'm sure you could write and request the human rights reports written that week). When Kaplan asked, I said that to my knowledge there had been no investigation conducted by the army on the incident (I didn't say they never investigate--in fact, I've written stories including such investigations).

That said, I hope I was wrong and invite Kaplan to send me the results of the investigation that he seems certain occurred.

I can only assume Kaplan will delete this entry, but thought I'd put it up for as long as it lasts.

Again, don't trust me. But don't trust Kaplan either. Find out for yourselves, and use reliable sources that exist to document the situation, not to advance an agenda.

Reply from Lee Kaplan:

Anna, the ball is in your court: Provide me with Lamis's last name, the exact date and I will galdly research this incident with the IDF. The fact is, you are a serial liar for the PLO. Your presentation was pure propaganda
and designed to misinform those who attended. By the way, how do you account for the Hamas flags in those phtoos of "nonviolent" Palestinians you displayed? Read th Hamas charter.

I never said that you were a communist yourself, Anna, because I really don't know you. However, the organization you speak on behalf of is a communist front group dating back to the 1930s. I rather think you confirmed what I thought about you, but did not write: You are a young Jewish-American woman who has found a sinecure for herself and limited prestige as a published author by being a quisling for the Arabs against other Jews int eh Middle East. That, to me, is far worse than being a true believer as a communist.

Please note also I did not delete your entry. That is the style of the ISM creeps you work for, not me.

Kaplan do you have any sources to back up your slander against Anna?

She made her presentation. We can all see it on YouTube. We can all check her sources.

Where are YOUR sources? You mention communism in a review of her speech and expect us to believe you are not trying to discredit her?

It's very cheap of you to make such lame insinuations. Stop with the ad homimem and critique her views empirically rather than in a biased and politicized manner.

The basic facts of the matters in the Middle East are a mystery to the world. The Arabs are successful in many decades of de-legitimization propaganda against the Jews, and numerous acts of fabricating “news”, to create this affect. Scrutinizing every little story and placing it in perspective is a complicated task, even for a professional historian.

Now try this – ask any Arab speaker

“What borders of Israel do you accept as legitimate?”

The answer depends on how manipulative he/she is… The fact is, Arabs do not accept ANY legitimacy of Israeli existent. In total defiance of international law (At the same time, they rush to make manipulative use of it to promote a cause which contradicts it in the first place…)

Arabs are consistent. They strive to achieve genocide of all Jews, long before the state of Israel was established. They were allies of the Nazis back in WWII, and after this plot failed, they “joined in” with the Soviets (Masking their activities as “freedom struggle” ,and used socialist terms) they trained in the USSR, and got full support there, in weapons & finance. Then when this failed, they join in with the Iranians…. (“Hamas” is fully financed & trained by the Shia of Iran).

Arabs are quick to demand “equality” in a Jewish state, masking their true goals in the false claim of “human rights struggle”. The very same Arabs have nothing to say to the fact Jews were second degree “citizens” under Islamic rule (“Dhimmies” ), and suffered immensely from Islamic fundamentalism which swept the Islamic world in waves throughout it’s history (no, it is not a new phenomenon…). I would recommend the book on Islam, by Prof. Karsh (head of Middle Eastern studies in the University of London), and watch this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3pq1KIUZb4&feature=related

I agree with Kaplan's assertions, and additionally, if you view the UN data, and look at the percentage breakdowns of casualties in the conflict, you'll see that approximate Israeli deaths are 50-50%, indicative of attacks on unarmed civilian populations; Palestinian deaths are 97-3% men to women, indicative of attacks on ARMED COMBATANTS.

I just had to sit through Baltzer today--she never onced mentioned the many unprovoked attacks on Israel in 1948, 1967, 1973 by Arab countries, which allowed Israel to expand its territory legally. She also engages in the same rhetoric battle that the sides she opposes use, calling her grandparents "Holocaust refugees", not survivors, thus trying to group the Jewish struggles as the SAME as the Palestinian struggle. She also claimed that both the one state and two state solutions don't work. Seems to me she just wants Israel to not exist at all?

Lastly, as a Jew I have to say that I am repulsed by her positions. She may have Jewish blood, but her complete rejection of a)all religious conveyance of meaning to her ancestry and b)Jewish claims to the land show just how she can't claim to be Jewish. She uses Judaism to stamp herself as believable to her supporters, but she is a disgrace to my faith.

ISM AND BALTZER GANG INTERFERE WITH MY BLOG ON WIKIPEDIA

Below is another article I did about Anna Baltzer back in 2007. The ISM and Anna's pals who control her Wikipedia page apparently did something so the link to where the article was at my blog now says page cannot be found. I am reprinting the article here for all to see and notifying Google and blogspot of the tampering. Any of you out there who edit Wikipedia should notify the editors.

MORE ON ANNA BALTZER, THE ISM'S EVA BRAUN

Steven Stotsky at CAMERA has written an excellent review of the ISM/s Eve Braun, Anna Baltzer who tours American churchs and campuses on behalf of Hamas terrorists for the little commies in the IWPS. Anna says she's not a communist so we ahve to assume she's jsut a lying opportunist who has a nice sinecure. What's amazing is how a woman with such a low IQ can make a good living touring with a propaganda campaign such as hers with a straight face, telling everyone she is a "peace activist" while concluding her presentations always jsutifying terrorism and war against Israel. Anna also likes to say she's an "eyewitness" to Israeli abuses that apparently only scenarios given her by Lamis Andoni for her to repeat. Lamis Andoni is the daughter of the PFLP apparatchik Ghassan Andoni who helped found the ISM and recruit little Jewish wannabe communist revolutionaries to run around for the totalitarian Arabs.
Anna, have you no shame? Apparently not.

Chomsky Lite: Anna Baltzer Joins anti-Israel Campaigns
By Steven Stotsky of CAMERA

Extreme anti-Israel groups often feature like-minded Jewish individuals in their campaigns, events and writings. These voices provide a public relations fig leaf for organizations singling out the Jewish state for one-sided condemnation. The logic, obviously, is that if Jews themselves are leveling harsh criticism at Israel, the organization’s own assault must have merit. But what actually counts in statements about Israel, the Palestinians or any other topic are the facts of the issue – not the ethnicity, religion or personal psychology of the speaker.

Anna Baltzer is one such Jewish defamer, a relative newcomer who tours US campuses, churches and community venues denigrating Israel with baseless and propagandistic allegations. Her personal story has a familiar ring; she claims to have been raised on the Zionist dream but says "vacations" in Iran, Syria and Lebanon and an extended visit to the West Bank opened her eyes and transformed her into a determined opponent of "the occupation." Those well versed in the history and contemporary reality of the conflict will recognize in Baltzer’s presentation a re-packaged version of standard accusations against the Zionist state.

Equally predictable are her anecdotal descriptions of Palestinian hardship and alleged Zionist brutality. Likewise familiar is Baltzer’s invoking of her Jewish roots and grandparents lost to the Holocaust to establish her supposed moral authenticity.

But family aside, Baltzer’s ideological roots are firmly planted in the anti-Zionist movement. An acolyte of deceased Israeli radical, Tanya Reinhardt and Noam Chomsky, she is affiliated with the International Women’s Peace Service (IWPS), a group closely associated with the International Solidarity Movement. Her political message closely reflects the official Palestinian line claiming Israel is a foreign occupier guilty of ethnic cleansing and that the wrongs done to the Arabs can only be righted by reverting back to a mythological pre-Zionist Palestinian land.

False claims about land ownership

1) Baltzer builds her argument against Israel on key historical falsehoods. In a tactic of propaganda, she repeatedly asserts the falsehood that the West Bank and much of Israel itself belonged to the Palestinians as though it were commonly accepted truth. She claims Jewish settlements on the West Bank are illegal according to international law and the land "belongs to the Palestinians, [and is] internationally recognized as Palestinian land." None of this is true; in reality, UN Security Council Resolution 242 (and official United States policy) characterizes the West Bank and Gaza as disputed territories subject to negotiation. Many recognized legal experts (including Professors Julius Stone and Eugene Rostow) argue that the settlements are legal, irrespective of any political view about the advisability of building or removing them.

2) Baltzer perpetuates the falsehood that all land not already under Jewish ownership prior to 1948 belongs to the Palestinians. A series of maps on her Web site depict the annexation of Palestinian land by Jews. A map labeled 1947 shows eight percent under Jewish ownership, and incorrectly assigns the remaining 92 percent to the Palestinians. But most of the territory she assigns to the Palestinians was state-owned property under Turkish and subsequent British and Jordanian governments. In 1967, when Israel took control of the West Bank and Gaza in the context of a defensive war, state land came under the sovereignty of Israel, which is how it remains until a "final status" settlement is achieved.

3) Baltzer further confuses the land issue in alleging Israeli Arabs are discriminated against because they are barred from owning most of the land. In reality, within Israel itself, only 6.5 percent of the land is privately owned and although Arabs constitute 20 percent of the population they own roughly half of that private property. They have equal access to the remaining roughly 80 percent of land that is government-owned state land. In practice and under new court rulings Arabs also have access to JNF land which accounts for the remaining 14 percent.

4) Baltzer makes other bizarre claims about land in Israel. In her blog she quotes Dr. Salman Abu Sitta, whom she identifies as a former member of the Palestine National Council, who states,

78% of [Jewish Israelis] live in 14% of Israel. The remaining 22% of [Jewish Israelis] live in 86% of Israel's area, which is Palestinian land ...only 200,000 Jews exploit 17,325 sq. km, which is the home and heritage of 5,248,180 refugees, crammed in camps and denied the right to return home. (April 30, 2007)
This absurd assertion denies Jews the right to 86 percent of the land within their own internationally recognized borders. Tellingly, her repetition of Dr. Sitta’s claims suggests she sees nothing wrong with reducing Israel into densely populated "bantustans;" precisely what she accuses Israel of doing to the Palestinians.

5) Her recapitulation of the events surrounding Israel’s founding are standard revisionist mythology. She recounts how "the militant Zionist Irgun and Stern Gang systematically murdered more than 100 men, women, and children in Deir Yassin" and describes it as "part of a carefully planned and orchestrated process that would induce the flight of 70% of the native population to make way for an ethnically Jewish state." (Anna’s blog: April 30, 2007)

And in her DVD, "Life in Occupied Palestine," she asserts:

The majority of the people living on the land the UN designated for a Jewish state were not Jewish. Zionist forces expelled 750,000 Palestinians from their homes.
The charge of an orchestrated plan and process to expel Palestinians has been thoroughly refuted by serious scholars. Professors Efraim Karsh and Benny Morris, for instance, both reject the charge of an orchestrated expulsion, and conclude the overwhelming majority of Arabs who fled did so in the context of war – one launched by Arab armies and militias against the fledgling Jewish state. Their scholarship is supported by the admissions of Arab officials that the Arab population was urged to flee by its own leadership. According to various UN commission reports, between 472,000 and 726,000 Arabs fled the territory that became Israel. Only a small fraction of these were physically uprooted by Jewish forces, in most cases to insure critical roadways remained open during open hostilities.

Demonizing Zionism and defaming Israelis

1) Predictably, Baltzer casts Zionism as a racist movement. She describes a Zionist as "someone who supports the idea of an exclusively Jewish state." This is a baseless distortion of mainstream Zionism. Israel is a democratic state that protects the rights of all its citizens to freely and openly practice their religions. According to Freedom House, an organization that rates political, religious and civic freedoms around the world, Israel is the only nation in the Middle East to be rated as "Free." Most of the region’s states were given the lowest rating of "Not Free." (See the Middle East portion of the Freedom House Map of Freedom reproduced on the left)
One is left to wonder how Baltzer’s "vacations" in Iran and Syria, nations controlled by repressive regimes that restrict speech, assembly and the rights of minority groups, somehow convinced her that Israel was the region’s most serious human rights violator.

2) Her account of the fighting in Jenin in April 2002 repeats the most outrageous propaganda disseminated by the Palestinian Authority in the days immediately after the Israeli incursion. She writes in her blog on November 24, 2003:

Jenin has a reputation for fighting back. Locals say that in April of 2002, it took 12,000 Israeli troops 8 days to capture one small section of the city because so many people fought to the death...
... Soldiers bulldozed homes indiscriminately, without regard to whether any civilians were still inside...

Israel used bulldozers to minimize soldier casualties, but no one knows how many Palestinians died in the attack... Shortly afterward, Israel announced 46 casualties, less than a quarter of their original estimates. Israeli soldiers’ and Palestinian civilians’ testimonies of unarmed men being executed and bodies being crushed suggest that this number is wildly inaccurate. Still, Israel maintains that a massacre never happened at all, and without access to the bodies, nobody can prove that those who went missing were actually killed.
At the time she wrote this entry, even HRW and Amnesty International, as well as the UN — all fierce critics of Israel — had repudiated claims that a massacre had occurred, counting 52 to 57 Palestinian dead along with 23 Israeli soldiers. Most of the Palestinian fatalities were identified as combatants. The relatively low Palestinian toll after eight days along with the uncharacteristically high toll of Israeli soldiers contradicts Baltzer’s narrative. Israel could have limited its own casualties by resorting to artillery and aerial bombardment, but in order to minimize Arab civilian casualties, went in on the ground and suffered notable losses.

3) She criticizes Israel’s security barrier, "the wall" in her terminology, but avoids any discussion of why it was built. Even Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ramadan Abdallah Shalah acknowledged the effectiveness of the barrier, stating:
"… For example, they built a separation fence in the West Bank . We do not deny that it limits the ability of the resistance to arrive deep within [Israeli territory] to carry out suicide bombing attacks, but the resistance has not surrendered or become helpless, and is looking for other ways to cope with the requirements of every stage [of the intifada]…" (Al-Sharq, March 23, 2008 ).
As an advocate of non-violence, she betrays no ambivalence in her opposition to the barrier despite the fact that it has saved both Israeli and Palestinian lives by reducing opportunities for violence to occur. Baltzer’s determined opposition to the barrier suggests that promoting the political agenda of "resistance" supercedes any concern for preserving Israeli or Palestinian lives.

Baltzer’s radicalism and ties to Islamic extremists

1) Baltzer’s rhetoric and writing are a window on the emerging nexus between the far-left and the Islamic extremists of Hamas. This is exemplified by her association with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), a radical group whose members sheltered two British-born terrorists prior to their carrying out a suicide bombing of an Israeli nightclub in 2003 and who today are working on behalf of Hamas to undermine Western efforts to isolate that radical Islamic organization in Gaza.

In her blog, she reveals her participation in ISM strategy sessions and coordination with its activists. ISM’s claims to adhere to a non-violent creed are contradicted by the praise its co-founder, Huwaida Arraf, expressed for suicide bombers:

Nonviolent resistance is no less noble than carrying out a suicide operation... The Palestinian resistance must take on a variety of characteristics — both nonviolent and violent. But most importantly it must develop a strategy involving both aspects...
2) The relative calm in the West Bank since 2005 and on-going tenuous efforts by responsible governments to foster cooperation between the Abbas government and the Israeli government have reduced opportunities for extremists to instigate "resistance" activities in these areas. Professional agitators like Baltzer have thus migrated to more extreme opponents of compromise, like Hamas in Gaza. In 2007, she wrote:

Recently, perhaps the most paralyzing features of Israel's continued control over Gaza ... is the US and Israeli-led economic embargo against the Palestinian government since Hamas' victory last year....the United States, Europe, and Israel ... say they will only return the Palestinians' lifelines if Hamas agrees to three conditions: (1) renouncing violence, (2) accepting previous agreements, and (3) recognizing Israel. These conditions sound reasonable enough, but are painfully ironic for anyone living on the ground here. True, Hamas has not sworn off violence once and for all, but neither has Israel! In the past year, Palestinians have killed 27 Israelis, most of them soldiers. During that same period of time, Israelis have killed 583 Palestinian civilians (suicide bombers, fighters or others targeted for assassination are not included). Hamas has held fairly consistently to a unilateral ceasefire since January 2005, when they announced their transition from armed struggle to political struggle... Hamas says it reserves the right to resist violently, but has stopped attacking Israelis. Israel claims that all it wants is peace, yet the daily invasions and assassinations continue.

And finally, the last and crucial condition is that Hamas must recognize Israel. The question is, what exactly is meant by "Israel"?... Israel has an artificial Jewish majority that was created and is maintained through various forms of ethnic cleansing. Israel's very existence as a Jewish state is conditional upon the dispossession and either expulsion or bantustanization of the indigenous Palestinian population...
Hamas too has indicated that it would consider peace if Israel withdrew to its internationally recognized 1967 borders leaving Palestinians with just 22% of their historic homeland, but Israel says full withdrawal is out of the question. It is Israel who has yet to recognize Palestine's right to exist, not the other way around. (April 7, 2007)
Baltzer here adheres closely to Hamas’s narrative of the conflict. These excerpts from a lengthy blog entry are riddled with deceptive manipulation of terms. For instance, while Hamas accepts temporary truces it firmly rejects the right of the Jewish state to exist and refuses to disavow armed struggle. Recently, when an interviewer asked Hamas political chief, Khaled Meshal if Hamas could ever accept Israel. He answered,

No, the question of recognition is out. I have already said we would be able to sign a truce. There are other formulas, but we have already stated that recognition is not among them. (Euronews, July 11, 2008)
Nor has Hamas stopped trying to attack Israel despite Baltzer’s nonsensical claim that Hamas has adhered to the 2005 ceasefire. From January through August 2008 alone, 1087 rockets and 1218 mortar shells were fired on Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza and Hamas has taken credit for a number of terrorist incidents inside Israel since 2005.

Her statistics on Palestinian casualties are misleading. Through careful cross-checking of Palestinian sources, CAMERA has demonstrated that the groups Baltzer relies upon for her figures play games with how they classify terrorists and militants as civilians or non-combatants. For example, the pro-Palestinian Israeli group B’Tselem categorizes known terrorists killed in Israeli air strikes as non-combatants so long as they were not carrying out an attack at the time of their demise. Another CAMERA study combed through the weekly reports of the Gaza-based monitoring group Palestinian Committee for Human Rights (PCHR) and calculated 58 percent of all Palestinian fatalities between April 2006 and April 2008 were identified as militants, resistance activists or members of Palestinian security forces by this partisan group. Israeli tallies indicate that the overwhelming majority of Palestinian fatalities are militants and terrorists.

Curiously Baltzer’s blog falls silent between April 29, 2005 and Jan 26, 2007, a time during which the main news focused on Israel’s decision to withdraw from Gaza and the chaotic results within Gaza afterward, including intensified internecine fighting between Hamas and Fatah.
In 2007, in the midst of an extended period of relative calm between Israelis and Palestinians on the West Bank, she exclaimed in her blog:

Injustice is unsustainable. It cannot be normalized, because there will always be resistance. The third intifada will come...If the third intifada does not succeed, there will be a fourth. And then a fifth… As many as it takes, until justice is served. (April 29, 2007)
Although Baltzer’s organization IWPS proclaims in its mission statement that it is "non-aligned and non-partisan and does not 'take sides' but supports any individual, group or organization who resist the Military Occupation of the West Bank in a nonviolent manner," she implicitly condones violence by urging endless intifadas. Surely she knows that Palestinian and Israeli blood would inevitably flow during the next and any subsequent intifadas.

Like others who have preceded her as roving agitators against the Zionist state, Baltzer feeds off the continuing conflict. Her agenda promotes resentment and holds out to Palestinians the unrealistic hope of reversing a century of Jewish growth and development of the land. This can only push prospects for a peaceful coexistence further away. With continuing attempts to forge a more cooperative and calm atmosphere in the West Bank, it is no surprise that Baltzer and others who share her agenda increasingly align their views and actions with the most determined opponents of compromise, like Hamas.

Andrierig;

If Americans Knew is run by Alison Weir. Alison has ben featured on Nazi websies with David Duke, and she is funded by the Saudis and PLO. Her statistics are usually contrived. For example, she counts as civilian casualties any Palestinian Arabs who were armed terrorists or suicide bombers. She was a divorced mother of three who was looking for a sinecure until she met some Arabs who finaced her. She is not a journalist. If you are thinking she is a reliable source you are sadly mistaken. Read more about her at this link:

Barry Gillis;

Go read the Hamas Charter, a group for which Anna promotes an agenda along with Fatah then talk to me about hatred and paranoia. You live 10,000 mles away in the US so don't ahve missiles falling on your head nor Arabs trying to kill you. Anna Baltzer sadly is a Jewish quisling for Muslim/Arab fascists. She has been caught lying by me on moe than one occasion. I suggest you also google Anna Baltzer _ CAMERA.org for more info on this Jewish Eve Braun for the Arabs.

If Americans Knew is a non-profit organization that focuses on the Arab-Israeli conflict and United States foreign policy regarding the Middle East, offering analysis of American media coverage of these issues. Its mission, according to the group's website, is to provide "what every American needs to know about Israel/Palestine."[1] The site is generally critical of U.S. financial and military support of Israel.

In addition to the freelance journalist and founder Alison Weir [2], board members include [2] Paul Findley, a former United States Representative, and Andrew I. Killgore, a former ambassador of the United States to Qatar [3].

I checked Anna Baltzer in Camera - the first pharagraph was so full of venom that I did not want to read the rest - I can get more balanced information on other sites.

Responding to the attack on Bary Gillis - you also live in the US - 10050 miles from Gaza - so you also don't have missiles falling on your head.

I am wasting my time here - it is better spent writing letters to my representatives telling them about my outrage at the deaths of 13 Israelis and 814 Palestinians

To brief those not in the know,
I wrote an article where I said Anna lied about having a Fulbright and attending Birthright, tales she uses to pose as the Jew who wants to bring down Israel for Hamas.
Well, it turns out she did get a grant from Fulbright and may have even been at Birthright (still waiting for proof), but under a completeley different name, Anna Piller.

Needless to say, the ISM trolls on the Internet are crowing about the fact she did have these things in her background somehow disproves all the pro-terrorist activities
I've proven about the ISM over the last ten years and that she is a serial liar. The article in question was pulled by one panicky publisher who was afraid of a lawsuit over a minor error that the anti-Israel trolls tried to make into a major issue--and succeeded. Anna Baltzer herself never sent any letters, I guess leaving the threats up to the ISM cultists to do it for her. The rest of the articles in question were true to the T, though. Anna just finished telling an audience at Oxford yet another lie that Israel is the same as apartheid 1980's South Africa. She's going to Belgium on Monday to tell assorted atrocity lies about Israel  to further spur anti-Semitism in Europe.
