Five Horrific Methods for Executing Gay Men Outlined at Pro-Hezbollah SABA Islamic Center of San Jose, California

The Khomeinist mullah Nabi Raza Abidi persistently hosts incongruous radical speakers at Shia Association of the Bay Area

This year, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Catholic Bishop Patrick Joseph McGrath visited and declared "solidarity" with Shia Association of the Bay Area (a.k.a. SABA Islamic Center), a staunchly pro-Iranian regime, anti-Semitic organization based in San Jose, California.

Many observers of SABA view Bishop McGrath's undertaking with alarm, as the Association's activities and members have been persistently linked to extremism and illegal activities. Indeed, SABA and its imams, including Rafic Labboun (a.k.a. Wilhelm Dyck) and Nabi Raza Mir (a.k.a. Nabi Raza Abidi), have been shown to staunchly support Hezbollah, an international terrorist organization based in Lebanon and controlled by the Iranian regime.

Perhaps it is unknown to Bishop McGrath that Labboun was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and prosecuted for credit card fraud in a scheme to enrich himself as well as fund Hezbollah. Labboun was convicted, but after his release from prison he violated his probation and fled to Mexico and Belize, where he used a dead baby's identity with the help of local Hezbollah operatives. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chased Labboun and, with the help of Mexican counter-terrorism forces, apprehended and returned him to the United States.

And perhaps Nabi Raza Abidi neglected to inform Bishop McGrath that in 2011 the Obama administration denied him re-entry into the U.S. due to his dedication and loyalty to the Iranian regime. Indeed, Abidi remained stuck outside the U.S. for several months, until his attorneys forced the hand of the Obama administration with a court order.

Nor does Bishop McGrath know that SABA has hosted numerous imams who publicly berated the LGBT community. Farrokh Sekaleshfar, infamous for proclaiming, "Death is the sentence" for homosexual men, was a frequent speaker at SABA between May 2012 and December 2015.

Another mullah, Hamza Sodagar, lectured repeatedly at SABA between June 2010 and August 2013, even after in 2010 when he outlined there five horrific methods for executing gay men:

"If there's homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One, the easiest one maybe: chop their head off. That's the easiest. Second, burn them to death. Third, throw them off a cliff. Fourth, tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth, a combination of the above."

How do these cruel rulings pronounced at SABA differ from those of the Islamic State (a.k.a. Daesh, ISIL and ISIL), except that they are even more extreme?

Ironically, neither Sodagar nor Sekaleshfar have an obligation to make such controversial remarks in the West only because Shiite Islam requires its adherents to practice Taqiyya, Arabic for dissimulation, to avoid harm by opponents of the faith. Nevertheless, mullahs loyal to the school of thought of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, leader of the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and founder the Islamic Republic of Iran, neglect to keep to themselves statements that can only frighten and enrage the Western public. Indeed, it is such mullahs who are the driving force behind the growing anti-Islam sentiment in the West.

Hamza Sodagar: If there's homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One, the easiest one maybe: chop their head off. That's the easiest. Second, burn them to death. Third, throw them off a cliff. Fourth, tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth, a combination of the above.

Sodagar and Sekaleshfar are not the only mullahs who took on the LGBT community. Asad Jafri, another extremist mullah based in Toronto, Canada, also visited SABA repeatedly between January 2008 and December 2014. While at Saba, Jafri made a point of attacking (see 28:25) the lesbian activist Irshad Manji, characterising her lifestyle as "disgusting." Obviously, Bishop McGrath did not listen to Jafri's lectures, although they are readily available at Saba's YouTube channel.

And perhaps Bishop McGrath did not read about Jafri's father-in-law, Mohammad Zaki Baqri, an extremist cleric also based in Toronto. Baqri reportedly called the Jews "inhuman" during a protest in Canada in 2014, and infamously shouted "Death to Zionism" during a speech on Quds Day at SABA Islamic Center in 2008. Quds Day is commemorated on yearly basis at SABA during the last Friday of the month of Ramadan as mandated by Ayatollah Khomeini.

Zaki Baqri happens to also be a close relative of Nabi Raza Abidi, as both mullahs hail from the same village, Alipur of Karnataka, India. Baqri, like the other mullahs who lecture at Saba, was invited to the Silicon Valley-based Islamist center by Abidi. Baqri visited SABA frequently between October 2005 and July 2013.

In truth, Shia Association of the Bay Area is not reaching out to the Catholic Church and Bishop McGrath because it admires Christians. It does not. Dr. Mazhar Khan, a co-founder of the Association made it that much clear during a speech at SABA in 2011. Nor is SABA reaching out to the Catholic Church because it has abandoned its allegiance to the Iranian regime or its pro-Hezbollah stance.

The hard truth is that needy SABA and its leader, Nabi Raza Abidi, want to clean their tarnished names with the Catholic Church's and Bishop McGrath's good names.

I maintain my Roman-Catholic faith in Jesus, but I no longer support the Catholic church. The US Council of Catholic Bishops receives over $80 million a year for their refugee resettlement program, which accounts for about 98% of their annual budget. (per Refugee Resettlement Watch). When 98% of their annual budget is financed by the fed to resettle almost entirely Muslim refugees, the Christians are being hung out to dry by their own.
My Faith in Jesus remains strong, but my faith in the Catholic church is minimal.

Excellent expose - Thanks and keep up the good work

I agree, we have so many Catholic leaders submitting to Muslim extremists' requirements. And I'm a "cradle Catholic" that questions so much of the Catholic faith these days. Keep fighting the good fight for all citizens!

thanks - some bishops think that being a good catholic means to be a useful idiot to khomeinist extremists. I will be going to a presentation to hear a local bishop speak and something tells me that some of his speech will be about this sort of thing. This makes me ill to my stomach.

Dear Lee,

Thank you for bringing these important issues to the attention of the community. These are exactly the type of people who constitute a challenge to our way of life in the West.

Bishop McGrath and his aides should learn more about Saba Islamic Center and its pro-Iranian regime and pro-Hezbollah activities.

Thank you again for your effort.

SABA Islamic Center of Shia Association of the Bay Area is the main hub for pro-Hezbollah Khomeinist extremists in the San Francisco Bay Area. This place should be kept under constant surveillance by the Federal authorities. The son of SABA's resident mullah had the audacity to post on social media messages that call for violence against Jews and "Nawasib!" This is the sort of shameful people that hang around at that place.
