Welcome to the blogosphere, Lee! I'm glad to see you with your own forum given the huge body of work you have done already on other people's sites.

Readers may or may not know that Lee Kaplan is a host and co-host on Club Cruz, a television program I produce in the Santa Cruz area. Together we have produced about 10 different episodes on the mideast, anti-Israelism in the Santa Cruz area, and have had such guests as Walid Shoebat, Nonie Darwish, and J. Craig Killough.

Since Israel-bashing is a major sport at both UCSC and among the self-identified liberal/progressive groups in Santa Cruz, Lee's heroic efforts to confront bigotry, anti-semitism, Arab propaganda and historical revisionism in the Lion's Den of liberal Santa Cruz are much appreciated.

Lee and I together were able to expose a dog and pony show by the Resource Center for Nonviolence in which organizers paraded a phony victim of "Jewish Settler" violence through area high schools and on the UCSC campus.

Lee's undercover work at ISM workshops and Palestinian Solidarity Conferences is legendary. Lee was responsible for preventing ISM co-founder Paul Larudee into Israel and forced Al Awda off of the UC Riverside campus.

He went to Israel and came back with the IDF video footage of Rachel Corrie's death proving once and for all that she was no where near a house when she was killed.

Often controversial, always opinionated, lively, up to date, and with inside sources that really know what's going on, I'm sure readers will have plenty to consider on these pages in the days to come. Keep it up and keep it coming.
